Opal Award for Work at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Shopping Centre
The REVO Opal Awards are aimed at promoting unique commercial brand opportunities that retail environments can offer. They are the only awards programme to truly encompass and reflect the entire breadth and scope of commercialisation activity and its positive impact on retail and leisure environments – as generators of income, a contributor to enhancing positive customer experience, the overall vitality of retail destinations and by creating points of difference, complementing the existing retail mix.
Award Winning Event Management
Our winning event in the Commercial Event/Markets/Exhibitions category, was the ‘Summer Social’ at Cheshire Oaks where we provided a Bar and Grill Shack with chunky plank wood benches and tables, a soft bean bag chill out area and a gazebo, just in case the weather let us down! We also installed our fun and fabulous Water Walkers, safe fun for all. The whole area was landscaped with potted plants to provide a little summer oasis in the middle of the retail shopping village. All visitors who came to the event said they enjoyed having an outdoor seating area with great food and drink to enjoy. Most people visiting said because of the event, their visit to the retail unit lasted longer and they were more inclined to pass details of the event onto friends and family.
The Summer Social was organised in conjunction with the management team at Cheshire Oaks, agreeing space available, dates, elements required and what heath and safety regulations had to be met. From the initial planning meeting, our team at Leisure Events took care of the whole event from build to professionally staffing it throughout the event and then breaking it all down and removing everything at the end of the event.
If your town, shopping centre or shopping village is interested in a similar themed event, please feel to get in touch for an initial chat to see how we can help any event be a success and bring in more visitors. Call us on 0789 9797073.
Here are a few images from the event. We apologise for the stormy sky, unfortunately, we can’t predict the British weather!
